New Year’s Eve in Barcelona: make your perfect plan!
If you’re planning to spend the last day of the year in Barcelona, well it’s going to be great for sure! Dinners, Flamenco shows, fireworks, parties: everything for everybody’s taste!
Fireworks are always amazing, but you’ll never forget those of the Magic Fountain in Plaça d’Espanya. At Midnight the sky above the
square will be illuminated with plenty of colourful explosions and the Magic Fountain will be at its best with its colours, lights and music.
A show you definitely shouldn’t miss to welcome the new year.
After the open air pyrotechnical show, what is the best way to warm up yourself? Obviously dance, dance and dance! The Olympic Port is the best place to find your perfect party: Pacha, Shoko, Opium are only three of the names of the clubs you can find there. An international and funny environment is waiting for you there!
Other alternatives could be Razzmatazz (situated at the metro stop Marina), Apolo (metro stop Parallel) and Jamboree (Plaza Real).
You won’t get bored for sure!
Flamenco show and dinner
If you’re looking for a more relaxed and chilled way to celebrate the New Year’s Eve you can opt for a Flamenco show. In many theatres you can enjoy the music and the dance performance while having dinner, and after midnight if you want you can join them to dance!
Ask in the reception for more information about the flamenco show!
“Primer bany de l’any”
Every year, the first day of the year, more than 600 people meet in Platja de Sant Sebastià (Barceloneta) for the first swim all together in the sea! The event starts at 12.00, and if you’re brave enough to join them you will be reward with hot drinks and nice food.
It is a perfect way to start a fresh new year!
So have the best from your last day of the year, and remember to eat 12 grapes at the stroke of the midnight!
